Start already

Well Ive been waiting for Aunt Flow since last Saturday and she still hasnt come. And we need her to come so I can start my Patches and other medication. So I called the clinic Monday they said wait until Thursday. ... waiting ... waiting. Today I called at 745 am ( couldnt wait lol) and told them well she still isnt here. ( this happens once and a while where my body will skip a month).
So they started me on provara so I will get "her" in a few days and start my patches. There was some concern if I will be ready for the transfer in time so we are planning on doubleing up my patches and pills to get my uturis nice and thick to hold those embys. *heart*

Its been stressful wanting my body to do somthing and it not doing what we hoped it would. Seriously out of all the months to be off it has to be this one. UGH! At least we have options and we wont have to wait another month for the transfer...Hopefully!

My body always reacted to fertility meds nicely so this part Im not too worried about. Then as soon as I get Ms Aunt Flow I head back up to Fargo for a baseline ultrasound. One of these trips Im hoping to hang out there for the day. Maybe have the Kids go to my oncall day care and relax with sam. It just all sounds relaxing.

Shes coming for Thomas birthday party on Sunday. Im hoping Jack and the girls come too. have a slumber party bon fire and rost some smores and eat some yummy food sunday. Im setting up the slip and slide for the kids and the pool. Im super excited.

well Im off.. hope everyone has a great SAFE 4th of July weekend. My birthdays the 4th so I know I will =)

Evaluation

We had an evaluation today to make sure we are emotionally and mentally stable to do the gestational surrogacy. And to make sure we arnt "forced" or " felt obligated" to do the Pregnancy that they sometimes see with friends or family members.

Everything went great. She was amazed with our story. How we used Fertility meds. How  we where so close to have to use either a surrogate or adopt and how we met our Intended parents. She was so nice! Some people are really nervous about the evaluations with them but we weren't at all. She said she had no concerns and wished us all the luck!

We signed all the papers for the contract and now we wait to start our meds.

Just a small update but a very important one!

Blood medication ... and so much more!

Yesterday Nick the kids and I headed off to Fargo. When I called up there last week they told me Nick would have to be there. So he took the day off work to get what we thought would be blood work and sign paper work. Well he actually didnt need to be there. So he was a bit upset he took the day off and used up more of his time off. I think out of this so far the hardest has been communication and the traveling. We got to spend most of the day together and have a wonderful dinner together with the kids. So not all bad =)

Nick and the kids took off to the mall for a few hours while I met with Sam Jack and the Nurse to talk about whats next. There was so much information in that appointment Ill try and remember it all.

Sam started her meds last week and we should be on the same cycle so far. We are waiting for my Aunt Flow  so I can start my Estrogen Patches and head back to fargo for my first ultrasound to get a base line. Then every other day I take my 2 patches off and replace them with new ones. this will go on for weeks even after a positive pregnancy*fingers crossed*

Then at about the 14th day of my new cycle they will start Progesterone Medrol Doxycycline and continue my every day prenatal Vitamin and 81 MG baby asprin. Then the transfer week falls between July 18th- july 25th.

I got blood work done (3 viles) and signed papers for the clinic. Talked about what all is going to happen in the next month and got a big bag of goodies!! Sam picked up some fragrance free laundry soap and dryer sheets and my super awesome shoot for sam shirt. And a bag from the clinic full of Progesterone. I bought Body and Hair wash and gave it to sam after taking a bit (she can use the left overs on the baby(S). and I bought deodorant.

we go back to Fargo in 2 weeks for our eval and to finish up paper work =)

Time

Time goes so slow when we want it to go fast.
And when we want it to slow down it gets even faster.
I never seem to win with either one of these with different places in my life.
My son is going to be 4 in 26 days. June 1st always hits the reality that his birthday is right around the corner. I wonder where the time has gone. June 3rd is a date that tells me 6 months until my daughters birthday. Again with that it makes me think I have time... turns out I don't.

Today seemed to drag on forever. The kids and I laid around the house for hours this afternoon between inside and out. Went on a super long walk and stopped at our local "grocery store". Its super small if your wondering what the "" ment.

I made Skeddi (spaghetti) for dinner and we decided we needed out of our little town and drove to Alex. For what.. DQ!

Olivia helped our Dog Alli find the chipmunk that has been hiding in the rain gutter for the last few days ( not really there but the dog thinks other wise)

The whole process of being a GS has been on my mind alot today.More so then other days with the time going slow aspect of it. Less then 2 weeks and we will be setting up our medications and our transfer date.
I keep thinking to myself... wow in 3 months I could be pregnant. In 3 Months it could be twins!
Then I think about everything that I need to do and remember not to do in the next month. Getting my body ready for this and doing everything in my control to hold this pregnancy.

Lots of thoughts tonight..
Time will make a person think...
